My Imaginary Friend

This is just a little poem I quickly jotted down after my morning coffee, I hope you enjoy!

My Imaginary Friend

Like the wind he travels swiftly about,
Hes a little shy,
And very long and stout,
His favorite food is sauerkraut,
Take it away and you’ll make him cry,
Give him a pie and he’ll only sigh,
You’ll probably never meet this guy,
Cause like the wind he travels swiftly about,
He can be mean,
If ever he is seen,
But he is real don’t you doubt,
I’ll tell you what he is all about,
He’s like a cat,
Part giraffe,
Has a tail like a rat,
If you saw him you’d probably laugh,
He lives in a hut and holds a staff,
He has a cut but is on the mend,
See what he is, is my imaginary friend,
You'll probably never see him though,
Cause like the wind he travels swiftly about.

Some Haiku's For You

Naughty Gnat

Naughty gnat flying,
Hovering above my food,
Shooed by a swift hand.

Greedy Tongue

Cat's tongue rough and quick,
Bent over the dish with greed,
Dashing up the milk.

Crickets

Large lovely crickets,
Snatched quick by a flying fowl,
nevermore to sing.

Graphics of Mine

I have always been kind of interested in doing graphic designing, I haven't done anything with graphics in a while, but here are a few photos of some stuff I've made in the past.

This is a planet I made quite a while ago. I haven't named it yet but the lake that is in the biggest continent, I like to call crab lake.

This is actually an old picture of my cat Cookie hissing at the dog merged with a fire graphic that I made quite some time ago. At first I wasn't intending to put this pic in the fire graphic but the angles happened to be just right and now its one of my favorites. Maybe I should call it Cookiezilla...

This is another pic I edited with cookie hissing at the dog again. She really doesn't like him....

One day I was thinking about different colors of vehicles and I seem to be attracted to bright cheery yellow vehicles. That got me wondering what our suburban would look like in a nice shade of yellow. So with a little help from paint.net I could see what it would look like along with a few other crazy designs...

And finally for the last photo I thought I should show you a closer up image of my profile pic that gave me the idea for the name of my blog. This was just a photo of me swinging, with a little playing around on a new photo editing site, I got this interesting effect. Since it looked like I was sort of  phasing out of one world, I had the idea of calling it "Swinging Into Another Dimension". I also thought since people sometimes say that poetry , art, and photography are a way of looking at the world differently, I though this photo and its name would fit my blog considering its a blog of poetry and photography.

So here are just a few of the graphics and crazy photo edits I have done. I hope you enjoy them!

The Banana

The Banana

Long and curved like a large dulled claw,
Rises a short and stubby thing of which at the base I saw,
The soft sunny hide puddled with spots of brown,
Peeling it back it curls all round,
Unfurling the soft colonnade of sweet, humble creaminess,
At which now I can enjoy entirely of its dreaminess.

Lady Bug

On the way to the chicken coop the other day, I noticed a bunch of ladybugs crawling around on one of the bushes out back. Here are a couple of pics I snapped of them.

An Ants Work

Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, O sluggard;
consider her ways, and be wise.
Without having any chief,
officer, or ruler,
she prepares her bread in summer
and gathers her food in harvest.

This is just a short little video I made on Picasa with some pics I took of the ants in our backyard. Hope you enjoy!

Brown Town of Bhoulder

Brown Town of Bhoulder

Brown building all the same,
The peoples sheds all in shambles,
Deer roaming almost tame,
Smoke arising from burning brambles,
This is the way of the Brown Town of
Bhoulder

Brown cracked vagabond feet,
From the far hills on the dirt road came,
To the nomads the locals ran to meet,
Only to find that all around its just the same,
This is the way of the Brown Town of
Bhoulder

The traveler said,
"Streams a flowing, they are nevermore,
We eat hard cakes of bread,
Jets through the sky they loudly soar,
We'd much rather have birds instead,
Is this the way of the Brown Town of
Bhoulder?"

Replied the locals,
"Brown buildings all the same,
The peoples sheds all in shambles,
Deer roaming almost tame,
Smoke arising from burning brambles,
this is the way of the Brown Town of
Bhoulder."
